Helpr is a care service platform that supports families in finding excellent full and part time primary and emergency (or backup) childcare providers, full and part time adult care providers/caregivers, and birth workers including doulas and Newborn Care Specialists.

We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny on Mercer Island.
A lovely family on Mercer Island is looking for a Part Time Nanny (27 ½ hours/week) to care for their 5 and 2 ½ year old children. This busy family needs someone dependable and proactive to get their children up in the morning (Monday-Friday), ready for school, serve them breakfast, drive them to school (2 schools, 4 minutes apart, 10 minutes from family home), then return to the family home to clean up the children’s breakfast dishes, tidy up from getting them up and ready, start their laundry, tidy their rooms and play room, and complete any meal planning or prep for when the children get home. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, the family also needs their new nanny to pick their children up from school (3:30pm on Wednesday and 4pm on Thursday), transport them to any after school activities, bring them home, get them settled in, provide meals and snacks, engage and interact with them until time to get settled into their bedtime routine (baths, etc).
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am-11am, Wednesday 3:30-7pm, Thursday 4-8pm)

- Rate - $27-33/hr
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Waking children in the morning, getting them ready for school
- Preparing and providing time appropriate meals (breakfast, dinner)
- Meal planning & preparation
- School drop off and pick up
- Transportation to after school activities
- Outings to nearby parks, activities
- Tidying up after children, cleaning and organizing their rooms and play room, cleaning up after their meals, children’s laundry, light housekeeping
- Age appropriate engagement and interaction
- Bedtime routine (bathtime, getting settled, etc)
REQUIREMENTS:
- Authorized to work in the United States
- 2 years of paid, professional childcare experience
- Has a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
- 2 years of driving experience - must have clean driving record
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Must be a nonsmoker from a smoke free home
- Must be comfortable with family’s medium sized dog
BENEFITS:
- Gas/mileage reimbursement for transportation to/from school, after school activities, etc
Compensation: Position pays $27-33 per hour and family is looking for 27 ½ hours per week long term
